New FTP Service for Idris Technology Partners (ITPs)

A new FTP service has been added to the Idris Community server exclusively for our Idris Technology Partners (ITPs).


ITP users who wish to upload large files (e.g. video or rawdata) for the attention of DCS may now use our new FTP service. The service may be accessed using either gFTP (under Linux) or FileZilla (under Windows). Access to the FTP service requires the same login details as the Idris Community website. All logins must use the secure FTPS protocol. Please see the HOWTO article in the ITP Area of the Knowledge Base for further details on accessing the service and configuring your FTP client.

It is anticipated that the latest Idris distributions will be available shortly for download via this service.

Smaller files may still continue to be transferred via the existing 'File Area' web interface.
